William (Bill) Post’s professional insurance career began after graduating from Boise State University in 1968. He worked as an underwriter and marketing representative for Industrial Indemnity, and then joined Henry-Rust & Co. in 1974.

In 1986, after nearly two decades in the industry, Bill started Post Insurance to meet a growing need in the insurance industry for surety expertise specific to Idaho’s growing construction industry. Today Post Insurance has the privilege of working with some of Idaho’s and the region’s largest utility contractors, manufactures, general contractors, street and road contractors, trucking companies, hotel chains, and the pleasure of providing Idahoans exceptional service and personal lines insurance

In 1995 Bill received the National Associated Director’s Presidents Award, making him the only non-contractor to ever receive prestigious AGC “SIR” award. He has also been an active member of the Associated General Contractors since 1974, and in that time he has served on many committees including the Workers Compensation Committee and the Safety Committee. Although Bill retired in 2012, he continues to stay active with a few of his longstanding clients and works closely with the current ownership in a consultation capacity.

After graduating from Boise State University with a degree in business management and finance, Terry embarked on a long and successful career in the insurance industry. With nearly 37 years of experience dealing with surety bonds, Terry joined Post Insurance as the Surety Manager in 1999. His previous experience in surety bonds and his 20 years of experience as an underwriter for Reliance Surety Company has made Terry a valuable member of the Post Insurance Team.

Thirteen years after joining the Post Insurance team, Terry purchased Post Insurance from Bill Post. His successful surety-bonding book and his experience in business management made Terry well suited to carry on Bill Post’s legacy. Under Terry’s watchful eye, Post Insurance continued to grow, and in January 2018 Terry welcomed Andrew Elam, Patrick Casabonne, and Mary Jaquier as co-owners and partners.

In addition to his commitment to Post Insurance’s continued success, Terry has served on the National Associated General Contractors surety committee since 2008.

Andrew started his insurance career in 2006 at Premier Insurance as a commercial insurance agent where he focused on finding business owners the best property and causality policy available. After honing his skills, Andrew joined Post Insurance in 2010 as a Commercial Agent and since then he has earned the reputation of being one of the most knowledgeable and personable commercial agents in the Treasure Valley.

Certified by The National Alliance of Insurance Education and Research Andrew is able to sell insurance lines including property, liability, auto fleet, and workers compensation. The certification gives him the ability to specialize in a variety of account types and sizes relating to industries such as manufacturing, wholesale, retail, hospitality, and technology.

In 2018, after eight years of building his book of business and reputation as one of the valley’s most respected agents, Andrew became Post Insurance’s President and co-owners with Terry Robb, Patrick Casabonne, and Mary Jaquier.

After graduating from Lewis-Clark State College with a bachelor’s degree in business management and minors in marketing and communication, Patrick earned his insurance licenses in life, disability, property, casualty, and began his career at Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho. After two years selling personal lines and small commercial insurance, Patrick made the jump to large commercial insurance and joined Post Insurance in 2012.

In 2013 Patrick began selling group health insurance policies and has since established himself as Post Insurance’s expert group health insurance agent and earned a reputation with clients as dedicated and committed to finding the best policy for employers and their employees.

After six years as a commercial insurance agent at Post Insurance, Patrick was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and co-owner alongside business partners, Andrew Elam, Terry Robb, and Mary Jaquier.

Mary began her insurance career in 1989 with State Farm Insurance, and in 1995 she joined Post Insurance as a personal and commercial insurance agent. After 12 years at Post Insurance, she was promoted to Office Manager and Surety Service Agent. In addition to her roles as office manager and assisting with surety bonds, Mary also works as the technology coordinator to insure Post Insurance’s computer and phone systems are up to date. After more than 20 years at Post Insurance, Mary is the company’s longest standing employee.

In 2018, after 23 years of dedicated service, Mary became co-owners and business partners alongside Terry Robb, Andrew Elam, and Patrick Casabonne.

Yvette joined Post Insurance in 2014 as a Commercial Account Manager with more than 20 years industry experience. She holds her property and causality licenses and has specialized in several areas of insurance including commercial risk management, commercial/habitational property risks, life science, construction, manufacturing, and agricultural. Since 1995 she has focused on Idaho-based companies and meeting their specific needs.

Since joining Post Insurance, Yvette has expanded her expertise to include serving clients with multi-state operations. Her dedication to the business makes her an essential part of Post Insurance’s client consultation, carrier negotiation, policy form analysis, comparisons, and contract reviews.
In 2019, Yvette became a co-owner and business partner alongside Terry Robb, Andrew Elam, Patrick Casabonne, and Mary Jaquier.

Brian Trumble graduated from Idaho State University in 1992 with a bachelor’s in business finance. After graduating, Brian began his insurance career with Farm Bureau Insurance and has since spent more than 25 years in the industry. In 2016 Brian joined Post Insurance as a Personal and Commercial Insurance Agent.

While Brian is licensed to sell both commercial and personal lines of insurance, his expertise and passion is building one-on-one relationships with individuals and families shopping for personal lines of insurance including home, auto, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, and excess liability. Brian’s passion for traditional, meaningful relationships, and his genuine compassion for the needs of people are what make him an exceptional resource for those looking for personal lines of insurance.

Idaho native, Ty Travis, earned his associates degree from Weber State University and then his bachelor’s degree in general business from Boise State University (BSU) where he excelled as a collegiate golfer.  After graduating in 2015, Ty spent two years touring the county as a professional golfer and earned a spot on PGA Tour Canada.

Ty earned his insurance licenses in property, causality, life, and health/disability at the end of 2017 and joined Post Insurance in January 2018 as a Commercial Insurance Agent. With his degree in general business, Ty is well equipped to understand the needs of businesses and ready to help owners find the right policies to protect their company.

Alyshia joined Post Insurance in 2014 as a Commercial Account Manager and brought with her more than 12 years of industry experience. With experience on both the carrier and broker sides of the insurance industry, Alyshia is well versed in meeting the needs of clients and underwriters. In 2015 Alyshia completed her disability and life license and was assigned the job of managing the agency’s growing group health book.

Alyshia also holds a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Phoenix and earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2012.

Jessica studied business management at the University of Alaska, Anchorage and put her education to good use when she joined the insurance industry in 1999. She spent the first part of her career developing an expertise in personal lines, first with State Farm and then Wells Fargo Insurance Services.

Upon relocating to Boise, Idaho, Jessica joined the Post Insurance team in 2007 as a Personal Lines Agent. Jessica has her property and casualty license, life and health license, and flood certification. As a member of the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, she earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation (CISR) in 2005 and the CISR Elite in 2017.

Randi started her professional career running background checks for a Meridian-based company in 2015. After two years, Randi decided to make a career shift and joined the Post Insurance team as a subcontracted employee.  During her first four months Randi demonstrated valuable skills and a good worth ethic, so Post Insurance hired her as a full-time assistance account manager in 2017. In January 2018, Randi was promoted to Commercial Account Manager.

Randi holds her property and casualty licenses and supports Post Insurance’s commercial lines team by managing policy changes, contract renewals, and client consultations. Randi is currently pursuing her associates degree in psychology at the College of Western Idaho.

Assistant Account Manager

Idaho Native, Kylie Whetton graduated from Borah High School and then attended the College of Western Idaho where she earned her associates degree in criminal justice in 2017. After graduating, Kylie started her professional career as an Assistant Account Manger at Post Insurance in September 2017. As an Assistant Account Manager, Kylie supports the needs of Post Insurance’s large commercial clients.

In 2018, four months after joining the Post Insurance team, Kylie earned her insurance licenses in property and casualty. Kylie’s positive attitude and strong work ethic make Kylie a key part of the Post Insurance team.

Account Manager

Originally from Vancouver, WA, Jason moved to the Treasure Valley in 2019 to join Post Insurance as an Account Manager. Jason’s previous work experience as an Equity Specialist with Lending Tree and as an Operations Analyst for Safehold Special Risk, Inc. provide him with a unique perspective on quoting and binding business and allows him to assess risk with seasoned eyes.

He graduated from New Mexico State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, and shortly after he earned his property and causality insurance licenses. During his free time Jason enjoys golfing with friends and spending time with family.

Assistant Account Manager

Shannon started her insurance career in 1999 as a high school intern at Great West Casualty Company. After working as a subrogation assistant, she eventually transitioned into managing commercial auto liability claims. She joined Post Insurance in 2020 as an Assistant Account Manager responsible for day-to-day policy processing needs and liaising between Post Insurance, clients and carriers.

Originally from Soda Springs, Idaho, Shannon moved to the Treasure Valley to study at Boise State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health science studies and a minor in psychology. She also has her AINS designation and her property and casualty insurance licenses. During her free time Shannon enjoys riding motorcycles, spending time with her two miniature dachshunds, and working out.

Office Assistant

Grayson was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. After graduating from Capital High School, he was accepted to the College of Idaho where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2019. After graduating, Grayson joined Post Insurance as an Office Assistant and he strives to utilize his education, to add value to Post Insurance, and to focus on continued professional development.

While he was at the College of Idaho, Grayson worked in construction and for a furniture moving company where he learned the importance of time management and a good work ethic – two qualities he brings to Post Insurance. Grayson earned his property and casualty insurance licenses shortly after joining Post Insurance and he looks forward to his future with the company. During his free time, Grayson enjoys getting outside and enjoying the beautiful seasons that Idaho has to offer.
